Risk Assessment - LRF Community Risk Register

As part of the Local Resilience Forum (LRF), Category 1 Responders which have functions which are exercisable in a particular Local Resilience area must co-operate with each other in maintaining a Community Risk Register (CRR) of the assessment carried out by each individual Category 1 Responder.

Northumbria Local Resilience Forum (LRF) Community Risk Register (CRR)

The CRR was published on 14th November 2005 and updated on 6th June 2007 in compliance with the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 (Section 2 (1)) and is hosted on the Government Office for the North East website: www.go-ne.gov.uk/gone/prepforemergencies

The CRR is an important document produced following extensive work by the partners within the Northumbria Local Resilience Forum (LRF) area.  It provides a basis for local responders to consider which emergency plans are required and whether any existing plans should be modified in light of Risk Assessment.  This also applies to training and exercising of the emergency arrangements within the Northumbria LRF area.

Each Category 1 Responder must periodically inform other Category 1 Responders of the results of their own risk assessment.  This does not apply where sensitive information is involved..
